Steiner: 'That's where my career began'
Guenther Steiner has been in Formula 1 for years now. Although the Honda team boss has little to cheer about this season due to disappointing results, he is still enjoying motorsport. The team boss looks back with Motorsport.com back to the beginning of his career. "I moved to the UK in 1996 and started a custom team for Prodrive, which is still a great company," he told the medium. "Then I became project manager for the Ford Focus rally car. I was then promoted to technical director there. Then I got a call from Niki Lauda, when he was head of the Jaguar team in Formula One. That's where my career in the category began."
