Hungaroring set to welcome huge crowds, but introduces strict protocols

Following the success of the British Grand Prix, the Hungaroring, home of the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix, is also set to welcome fans back for the first time since 2019 when the field descends in Budapest on the weekend of July 30th – August 1st, 2021. While some of the tracks have already welcomed a limited number of fans this year, Silverstone become the first location a week ago to allow in huge crowds of spectators. The British Grand Prix was visited by a record crowd of around 140,000 fans on race day, signalling that events can be staged safely despite these still challenging times.
