Ricciardo suggests radical format change for Monaco GP

Video To news overview © McLaren Hot on the heels of F1's first Sprint Qualifying weekend at the British GP, McLaren's Daniel Ricciardo is willing to go even further in order to spice up the race in Monaco. The event at Silverstone was positively received by most as Max Verstappen took the first ever Sprint Qualifying event on Saturday, finishing ahead of championship rival Lewis Hamilton in the 100km mini-race. With the Monaco GP often a procession due to the lack of overtaking opportunities on the tight track, Ricciardo wonders if a radical new format would inject some life into the event. "We need to start racing on bigger tracks," Ricciardo stated on McLaren Unboxed....
