British Grand Prix: Verstappen v Hamilton in crucial showdown
The British Grand Prix could prove to be a crucial point in this title battle as Lewis Hamilton looks to fight back against Max Verstappen. After Hamilton recaptured some momentum during qualifying on Friday, Verstappen grabbed control in Sprint Qualifying off the line and did not look back. The Dutchman's victory during the first ever 100km sprint puts him on pole and with the advantage he showed in race conditions, it will be a tough ask for his 36-year-old rival to find a riposte. A win for Red Bull here would be symbolic given Mercedes' hold on this circuit throughout the turbo hybrid era, and would make this championship very much the Milton Keynes outfit's to lose.
