Zanardi's wife provides update on ex-F1 driver
Article To news overview © Brunhild Media The wife of Alex Zanardi says her husband faces a long road to recovery after suffering serious head injuries in a handbike crash last June. The former F1 driver was participating in the Obiettivo Tricolore handbike event last year, but was involved in a collision with a truck. Zanardi's wife, Daniela, provided an update on her husband's condition, stating his condition his stable. “One year after the accident, Alex’s condition is essentially stable,” Daniela said in an interview with BMW, for whom Alex is an ambassador. “He is currently in a special clinic, where he is undergoing a rehabilitation programme.
