Wolff: I loved it, that Bottas speaks his mind now

Toto Wolff welcomed Valtteri Bottas' fiery radio comments during the French Grand Prix, but insisted the one-stop strategy was the correct call. Bottas started the race in third and had been running closely behind the two frontrunners at the start, but faded badly in the closing stages of the race and lost out to Sergio Perez and finished fourth. With his tyres clearly worse for wear in the final stages, Bottas shouted over team radio that the team did not listen to him about going for the two-stop strategy, a strategy that Max Verstappen utilised perfectly on his way to victory.
