Marko thanks Perez in particular: "If he wasn't so open-minded..."

Helmut Marko is ecstatic after Max Verstappen took victory in France, the place where Mercedes proved to be the master in recent years. The man from Graz is very happy with Red Bull's work on Sunday afternoon. Marko is also particularly grateful to Sergio Perez. "We worked relatively early in this direction by leaving Perez out longer. So without Perez, if he wasn't so open-minded, we wouldn't have been able to do the whole thing," Marko complimented his Mexican driver, who also eventually managed to finish third by outsmarting Valtteri Bottas towards the end of the race.
