Bottas: There is a long run to Turn 1…
Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas is relishing the prospect of a drag race to Turn 1, at the start of the 2021 French Grand Prix, which might be a vital factor in what promises to be a tough battle at Paul Ricard on Sunday. With Max Verstappen on pole by a quarter of a second after qualifying at Le Castellet, the two Mercs of Lewis Hamilton and Bottas behind him will be hard to contain, and they have not been shy to point it out to their rivals through the media.
