Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve transformed into ‘Pit Stop’ vaccination centre

While the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve unfortunately won’t be hosting any Formula 1 action this year, the facilities are being put to good use for the local community as residents in the Greater Montreal area are being offered the chance for a ‘Pit Stop’ vaccination in one of the venues’ many garages. The Canadian Grand Prix promoters, in collaboration with the City of Montreal, Government of Québec and the Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal University Integrated Health and Social Services Centre, have transformed 20 garages into vaccination stations, with the aim of administering 6,000 vaccines across the next three weekends.
