Pirelli introduce softest tyre set for Monaco GP

Article To news overview © Red Bull Pirelli will introduce its softest tyre sets for the first time in the 2021 Formula 1 season at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix. The tyres will run from the hard C3, which was the softest compound available last time out in Spain, to the soft C5, with Pirelli opting for this set on expectations of a one-stop race. The company's head of F1 and car racing Mario Isola told F1.com it went with the selection due to the ease of warming up tyres around the twisting street circuit and the short lap length.
