Barcelona Qualifying: Fight at the front as tight as ever
Every time one of Red Bull or Mercedes looks to have the advantage this season the pendulum seems to swing the other way – and this weekend in Barcelona is no different. After being far off the pace in FP2, Max Verstappen struck back on Saturday morning to go fastest, two tenths clear of his main rival for the 2021 Formula 1 world championship Lewis Hamilton. The two frontrunners have been back and forth all season and there is little to suggest that qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix will be any different.
