Confirmed | F1 Stewards reach conclusion after Q1 yellow flags investigation
Nikita Mazepin had his second spin of qualifying just as the chequered flag dropped. As a result, the yellow flag at turn one dropped and he hampered a few drivers who were pushing to get into Q2. The stewards opted to investigate whether any drivers failed to slow down during the yellow flag period. Esteban Ocon, Lance Stroll, Sebastian Vettel and George Russell were all under investigation.
