F1 could lose ‘a race or two' from 2021 calendar
Mar.27 Zak Brown has admitted that 'a race or two' could drop off the currently-scheduled 2021 calendar. It appears likely that the McLaren supremo is referring to the Canadian GP in Montreal as well as Zandvoort – two races that were also cancelled last year. The problem in Canada is the government's insistence that all travellers quarantine for 14 days – an impossible task for F1 given that the race takes place one week after Baku. 'Could the seven-day quarantine for NHL be applied more broadly?' Montreal promoter Francois Dumontier told La Presse Canadienne. 'I don't know. 'But even seven days wouldn't work for us.'
