Williams hires Volkswagen designer as new F1 tech boss
Williams has appointed long-term Volkswagen technical chief Francois-Xavier Demaison as its new Formula 1 Technical Director. Demaison joined Volkswagen Motorsport in 2011, becoming Technical Director in 2016, which included overall responsibility for its brands motorsport projects. Demaison was influential in the development of the ID.R electric race car, which achieved multiple Pikes Peak records, as […]
