Gasly "ready" to take on AlphaTauri team leader responsibility

Pierre Gasly believes he is ready to take on the role of 'team leader' at AlphaTauri after launching the AT02 alongside rookie team-mate Yuki Tsunoda. Gasly is entering his third full season of Formula 1 racing after making his debut with six grands prix remaining of the 2017 campaign. Article continues under video The Frenchman has spent most of his time in F1 with AlphaTauri/Toro Rosso, with his only break being when he contested the first half of 2019 with Red Bull.
