AlphaTauri takes covers off 2021 F1 car, the AT02
AlphaTauri has unveiled its 2021 Formula 1 car, the AT02, during a digital launch on Friday morning. The Red Bull-owned team rebranded as AlphaTauri for 2020 following 14 years competing as Toro Rosso. AlphaTauri emerged as a challenger in the closely-contested midfield group, particularly in the hands of Pierre Gasly, who went on to score a shock win at Monza’s Italian Grand Prix. It marked only the second Formula 1 victory for the Faenza-based team since it joined as Minardi in 1985. AlphaTauri went on to finish seventh in the Constructors’ Championship.
