Alonso discharged from hospital in Switzerland

Alpine Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso will continue his recuperation from a cycling accident at home after being discharged from hospital on Monday. Alonso was cycling through the town of Lugano, Switzerland on Thursday when he was involved in a collision with a motorist outside of a supermarket car park. Alonso was taken to hospital by ambulance and diagnosed with an upper jaw fracture. Medics performed surgery on the injury and concluded that the operation as a success.
