Report: Ferrari planning power-unit overhaul ahead of 2022
Ferrari are planning a total overhaul of their struggling power-unit in time for the start of the 2022 Formula 1 season, according to Motorsport.com. The Scuderia and their customer teams endured a difficult campaign last year, with many observers suspecting that their engine was lacking power following the agreement that the team came to with the FIA regarding their power-unit following the conclusion of the 2019 season. In response, Ferrari have spent this off-season working on upgrades as they seek to bounce back from a sixth-place finish in the constructors' championship and reportedly have even grander plans ahead of 2022 when the sport's new technical regulations are introduced....
