Mercedes F1 reveal launch date for 'W12 E Performance'

Mercedes Formula 1 team have announced that their 2021 challenger will be unveiled on Tuesday 2 March at a digital launch event. The car will be named the Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance, with E Performance the new technology label set to be used on all new Mercedes hybrid cars. At the launch event, the team will run question and answer sessions with team principal Toto Wolff, technical director James Allison and HPP managing director Hywel Thomas. The Brackley-based team have won each of their last seven drivers' and constructors' championships, dominating the sport since the start of the V6 turbo-hybrid power-unit era in 2014.
