Webber: Russell Sakhir GP display 'horrible timing' for Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton's absence from the Sakhir GP and George Russell's subsequent standout display with Mercedes likely gave the latter an edge in its contract negotiations with the seven-time world champion reckons former F1 driver Mark Webber. Hamilton was forced to pull out of the penultimate round of F1 world championship for which Mercedes slot in Russell after it negotiated with Williams a one-off release of its protégé.
