Sir Jackie Stewart is recovering from a planned knee operation. The Formula 1 legend has reportedly received a new knee in an operation earlier this month. Stewart recovering from surgery The three-time F1 world champion, Jackie Stewart, drove Formula 1 between 1965 and 1973. In his final years the Brit was the most successful, with a world title in 1969, 1971 and 1973. For these achievements the Briton was given the title 'Sir'.
