FIA introduces sustainable fuels for F1 testing

The FIA have released their first barrels of 100% sustainable fuel for power unit manufacturers to begin testing. The FIA have released plans to become carbon neutral from 2021 and have a net zero carbon footprint by 2030 as the governing body look to lead the way in developing a greener future for motor racing. And one of the biggest advancements they hope to make is with the introduction of 100% sustainable fuels, made from bio-waste, to power Formula 1 cars. The FIA have revealed that the first barrels have been delivered to power unit manufacturers to begin testing, with the aim being that F1 suppliers will go on to produce their own biofuels as the series looks to make them mandatory...
