Grosjean successfully undergoes hand surgery

Romain Grosjean has undergone a successful surgery to further treat the hand injuries he sustained at the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix last month. The former Haas driver, who made headlines across the world for his remarkable escape from the fiery crash he experienced on the first lap of the race, has been receiving treatment ever since for the burns he sustained to his hands and a sprained ankle. On Tuesday, he revealed he was set to undergo surgery on his left hand to repair thumb ligament damage and clean the wounds from his burns, as well as injuries he had sustained to his right hand that he only revealed after his crash.
