Kvyat proud after ‘best qualifying lap of my career'

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – Daniil Kvyat will start his final confirmed race with Alpha Tauri from P7, a fact the Russian was thrilled with after the session. Daniil Kvyat will line up in P7 for the start of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina. For now, it's the Russian driver's last confirmed drive with Alpha Tauri and in Formula 1 – he's yet to be confirmed at the Red Bull junior team for 2021, and is expected to be making way for the incoming Yuki Tsunoda. Kvyat got the better of teammate Pierre Gasly throughout the entirety of qualifying, finishing ahead in all three sessions before ending up in P7 with a 1:35.963.
