Steiner: Two-day F1 weekend format works well

Haas F1 Team Principal Guenther Steiner has praised the impromptu two-day weekend that occurred last time out at the Eifel Grand Prix after poor weather on Friday led to the cancellation of two practice sessions. Teams entered Saturday with just one hour of practice before qualifying got underway, with the race occurring as usual on Sunday. Later this season, in a planned move due to travel distances, a two-day weekend featuring a sole 90-minute practice session will be held at Imola ahead of qualifying and the grand prix.
