Marko: I told Vettel to take a year off
Sebastian Vettel would have been better served by taking a one-year sabbatical than joining Aston Martin for 2021, says Red Bull's Helmut Marko. Set to depart Ferrari at the end of the 2020 Formula 1 season for the Silverstone outfit, Vettel's final season with the Scuderia has been anything but storybook, with him currently sitting 13th in the driver's standings. For Marko, who worked alongside the German at Red Bull when he won four-straight Formula 1 driver's championships from 2010-13, it is an exit 'unworthy' of his talents, and perhaps an indicator he needs some time off.
