Renault has appealed to the FIA for clarification of the new anti-copy rules. Renault team boss Cyril Abiteboul confirmed that the FIA had responded to the request. With the new rules, teams are no longer allowed to take over the designs of rival teams. Copying rules According to RaceFans.net, Renault's questions mainly concern teams using the same wind tunnel, such as Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri. Renault also asked about copying so-called 'Listed Team Components' [LTC]. These are components that are designed, manufactured and used by a single team.
