Hamilton named to 2020 TIME 100
Lewis Hamilton has been honoured as one of TIME's 100 most influential people for 2020, it was announced on Wednesday. The six-time Formula 1 driver's champion has once again enjoyed a dominant 12 months on-track, but has also taken his profile to new heights off of it with his vocal push for racial equality. A prominent supporter of the ‘Black Lives Matter' movement, Hamilton has been at the forefront of F1 initiating its ‘End Racism' and #WeRaceAsOne campaigns, although he has not been without criticism and difficulties along the way.
