Former Ferrari team principal Domenicali to become new F1 CEO

Former Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali is to become the new CEO of Formula 1, GPFans has learned. Domenicali is to replace Chase Carey at the end of the year, although the latter is to remain in F1 in as yet undisclosed capacity. Article continues under video Carey, who took over as CEO from Bernie Ecclestone in January 2017 following the acquisition of F1 by Liberty Media, has helped reinvigorate the sport on a number of levels.
