Binotto: Russia upgrades won't change big picture
Ferrari's upgrades at next weekend's Russian Grand Prix won't elicit a significant gain in performance, warns Mattia Binotto. Enduring a dismal season so far in 2020, the Scuderia sit sixth in the constructor's championship on 66 points, a far cry from their second-place finish last year replete with three wins and nine pole positions. And while the team's SF1000 will receive upgrades in Sochi, Binotto has reiterated that the team remain firmly in the midst of a rebuilding process. “There will be small upgrades, but this will not change the big picture,” he explained. “I think we are at the moment out of pace in the race, and we are somehow wearing too much the tyres.
