LIVE: The second free practice of the Italian GP
The first free practice is over and now it is time for the second. During the second free practice session, many teams will choose to test the car over longer stints to get a better idea of what to expect in the race. Long runs The drivers will get another 90 minutes on Friday afternoon to drive laps and collect data. The long runs are very important here. These are often run in the second free practice session to then adjust the setup for qualifying in the third. A lap on "the Temple of Speed" is on average the fastest on the calendar, although that's not entirely certain in 2020 due to the new addition of Bahrain's "oval" layout at the end of the season.
