Ferrari To Reportedly Press On With ‘Pink Mercedes' Appeal

Ferrari will continue with its appeal against Racing Point despite Renault withdrawing earlier this week, according to reports. The Italian constructor – which has had a torrid start to the 2020 F1 season – will reportedly press on with its appeal in the hopes of getting the copied rear brake ducts banned. Renault was the first team to raise questions about the legality of the Racing Point RP20 after it was unveiled in winter testing. The car’s resemblance to the 2019 Mercedes W11 quickly led to it being dubbed the “Pink Mercedes”.
