Verstappen: " Strange that Mercedes qualifies on that tire this weekend"

Max Verstappen will start the Grand Prix today on the hardest tire. Because of this the Dutchman has chosen an alternative strategy compared to both Mercedesses that will start for him. The driver of Red Bull Racing indicates that he himself has chosen to qualify on that hardest tyre, also because of the tyres of last weekend. "I felt strongly about that tire, because we are already running a softer compound of tires so we can’t use the hards like last week which I think was a pretty decent tire", explains Verstappen in Red Bull's online press moment.
