Verstappen: I hope I’m counting less sheep this weekend
It is well documented how Red Bull's ace driver Max Verstappen almost won last weekend's British Grand Prix at Silverstone when exploding tyres nearly cost Mercedes the race which until the last few laps looked like another Black Arrows one-two. Last Sunday, late in the afternoon, the rubber-gods intervened to spice up the preceding snoozefest of Merc domination; although they won, the ‘certain' one-two evaporated and Verstappen nearly stole it, before settling for second.
