Nurburgring, Portimao, Imola all confirmed
It's official! The Formula 1 season has been expanded to 13 races with the Nurburgring, Portimao and Imola all confirmed to be joining the schedule. Formula 1 initially announced an eight-race calendar for the revised 2020 season which began with two races in Austria at the start of July and ending at Monza for the Italian Grand Prix on September 6. The sport's owners, Liberty Media, were able to confirm a further two races, with the Formula 1 roadshow staying in Italy at Mugello on September 13 for what will be Ferrari's 1000th race before heading to Sochi for the Russian Grand Prix on September 20.
