Hamilton selected as new ambassador to the United Nations
Lewis Hamilton has been named a new ambassador for education by the United Nations. The Formula 1 driver who has attracted attention in recent weeks through his fight against racism, now gets a new role for the UN. The United Nations has been in existence for almost 75 years and in the meantime has joined 193 countries from New York. The goal of the UN is to maintain world peace, but also other issues such as the protection of human rights and social support in various countries.
