Ricciardo: 'That decision was not made overnight.'
The world of Formula 1 was briefly upside down when Sebastian Vettel announced that he would leave Ferrari after the 2020 season. Carlos Sainz quickly took his place at Ferrari, but just before that Sainz was announced it was already known that Daniel Ricciardo would go to McLaren. Empty Promises Ricciardo admits that he has been thinking for a long time about leaving his current employer Renault. The French race stable doesn't seem to be able to keep the promises that the team had made to Ricciardo at the time. "It was not an easy choice.
