All European F1 races could be closed-door events - Brown

All Formula 1 races staged in Europe during the 2020 season could be held behind closed doors, according to McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown. F1 championship bosses and teams took part in a crunch virtual meeting on Thursday to discuss how to get the 2020 campaign underway following a heavily delayed start with the opening nine races postponed as a result of the global coronavirus crisis. One of the considerations tabled was to begin the season with the Austrian Grand Prix on July 5, followed by two races at British Grand Prix venue Silverstone, both without spectators.
