‘Until this is over not much desire to think about racing'

Fernando Alonso is in no rush to announce his 2021 plans, saying right now he doesn't have 'much desire' to think about next year's racing plans. Alonso walked away from Formula 1 at the end of the 2018 season, tired of the sport's rules resulting in just three teams to fight at the race wins. The double World Champion instead tried his hand at the World Endurance Championship, winning the title, before returning to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for a second bid for the Indy 500 title. He failed to qualify. After that Alonso hit the dirt at the Dakar, finishing 13th for Toyota.
