Baku City officially postpones Azerbaijan Grand Prix!

As widely anticipated, Azerbaijan Grand Prix organizers have temporarily called off the round of the F1 world championship scheduled to take place in Baku on June 7. Monday's decision by Baku City, taken after extensive discussions with the FIA, Formula 1 and the government of Azerbaijan, brings to seven the number of F1 races either cancelled or postponed since the onslaught of the global coronavirus pandemic. "Baku City Circuit (BCC) has today taken the decision to postpone the FIA Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2020 due to take place on June 5th – 7th," said the organizers in statement.
