'Racing by no means essential' - Toto Wolff

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has issued an open letter to all Formula 1 and motorsport fans, reminding them that while "racing is entertainment...it is by no means essential". Wolff's words come in the wake of an unprecedented week for F1 due to the coronavirus pandemic, sparked by the cancellation of the Australian Grand Prix, since when the Bahrain, Vietnamese, Dutch and Spanish races have all been postponed, and Monaco also cancelled.
