COVID-19: Rome ePrix postponed until further notice

The coronavirus epidemic continues to play havoc with sport on a global scale, with Formula E organisers announcing that the Rome ePrix next month has been postponed until further notice. Formula 1 has already been forced to abandon going to China for the Grand Prix that was scheduled for 19 April and was to be Round 4 of this year's world championship. The entire calendar is now at risk as the coronavirus continues to spread with no signs that the end of the situation is in sight, while the second epicentre in Italy poses huge problems for F1 as a large section of the paddock is based in the north of the country where life has changed drastically in recent weeks.
