Zandvoort banking ‘very special' – Verstappen
Max Verstappen has described Zandvoort's banked corners as 'very special' after he drove the first lap of the new-look circuit in a 2012 Red Bull RB8. The Dutchman was present at his ‘home' circuit to officially open it alongside Sporting Director of the Dutch Grand Prix Jan Lammers. Speaking after completing a lap, Verstappen said: 'All in all, it was very special. I liked it very much. In particular turn three and the last turn, that banking feels very special and there are many different lines that you can take in the turn. Really interesting.
