Alonso joins forces with McLaren for Indy500

Fernando Alonso and McLaren will join forces again as the Spaniard attempts to complete the Triple Crown at the iconic Indianapolis 500. Alonso is joining team-mates Patricio O'Ward and Oliver Askew at Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet having reached an agreement with the team to race in a third car. His first outing will be in the Indy 500 open test on April 30. 'I am a racer and the Indy 500 is the greatest race in the world,' Alonso said upon confirmation.
