Williams FW43 a ‘definite improvement' over FW42 – Russell

Williams driver George Russell has described the FW43 as a “definite improvement” on last year’s FW42, which spent the entire season running at the back of the pack, scoring just a single point. Williams’ start to the 2020 season is night and day compared to last year, when the team failed to make the first test and then spent much of the second test fixing problems. However Russell was able to head out immediately on the first day of testing on Wednesday and completed 73 laps with a time putting him sixth quickest during the morning.
