Medium-term target is to maintain position, admits Key

As Renault targets fourth, McLaren technical director, James Key, admits that the team's medium term focus is told hold the 'best of the rest' position. 'The medium-term target is to maintain our position and hopefully close the gap a bit and build on that,' the Briton told reporters at today's unveiling of the Woking outfit's 2020 contender. 'If we can be in that place I think we'll achieve the realistic target that we have. 'You have to have a target to work to,' he continued, 'because you need to figure out where you need to be.
