Max Verstappen extends Red Bull contract through 2023 season

Red Bull Racing has confirmed that Max Verstappen will remain with the team through the 2023 Formula 1 season, having signed a new multi-year deal. Verstappen became the youngest Formula 1 driver in history when he stepped up to the championship aged 17 in 2015 with Toro Rosso, and joined Red Bull four rounds into 2016. Verstappen won on his Red Bull debut at the Spanish Grand Prix and has since added another seven victories to his tally. Verstappen enjoyed his best season to date in 2019, taking third in the Drivers’ Championship, along with three victories and two pole positions.
