Mercedes reinvents itself every season - Toto Wolff

Toto Wolff has outlined that Mercedes ‘reinvents’ itself each year, ensuring it has ‘no sense of entitlement’, despite its record-equalling streak of titles. Mercedes emerged as Formula 1’s dominant force in the hybrid era and in 2019 claimed a sixth straight Constructors’ title, taking 15 wins from 21 grands prix. Mercedes’ success ensured it matched Ferrari’s 1999-2004 record while it became the first team to have a driver win the individual crown for six years in a row. “We started to gain confidence that we wanted to win the championship,” said Wolff on Mercedes’ approach during the early stages of its F1 project....
