Williams confirms Nicholas Latifi as F1's 2020 grid is completed

Williams has confirmed that Nicholas Latifi will step up to a full-time race seat in Formula 1 next year, alongside George Russell, completing the team's line-up and that of the championship's 2020 grid. Latifi, 24, has spent the last four years in GP2/Formula 2 and this season holds second, behind already confirmed champion Nyck de Vries. Following prior test spells with Renault and Force India, Latifi joined Williams as its 2019 test and reserve driver, participating in six practice sessions aboard the FW42. The Canadian is set to be the only rookie on next year’s grid, with the sole other change coming at Renault, where Esteban Ocon will replace Nico Hulkenberg....
