Wolff: ‘No great sense of pride for Hamilton in UK'
Mercedes boss, Toto Wolff, is not feeling 'a great sense of pride' from the UK for Lewis Hamilton after he won a sixth World Championship title. Hamilton is now the outright second most decorated Formula 1 champion of all-time following his 2019 title win, which has seen an old debate resurface as to whether he should be knighted for his sporting achievements. While Wolff has said it is difficult for him to give a definitive answer as he is not British, he is very much aware of the fact that Hamilton is a 'polarising figure' especially back in Britain.
